To be eligible for the CBI, the main applicant must be at least 18 years old, meet the application requirements.
It's important to note that there are government fees associated with the processing of your application, the amount of which will vary based on your family's circumstances:
• €15,000 is available for a single candidate.
• The cost of a pair is €25,000.
• €45,000 for a family of four
If the main applicant decides to bring dependant parents or grandparents, it will cost an additional €50,000 per person.
 

Validity of Residence

Montenegro's passport is ranked 47th best in the world, with visa-free travel to 107 countries worldwide, including all of Europe, Russia, and Switzerland.
 

Real Estate Investment

The real estate market in Montenegro is still developing, with a lot of room for capital growth. Citizenship in Montenegro can be obtained by the following investments.

• Property investment in undeveloped Montenegro for EUR 250,000
• Montenegro's developed areas will receive a EUR 400,000 investment.

Additionally, a donation of EUR 100,000 in the form of government fees has been made. Only projects that have been accepted will be eligible for citizenship in Montenegro.
 

Updates & New Rules

This scheme is only open to 2000 people and will last three years. On December 31, 2021, the scheme will be permanently closed to new applications.
